Development Plan for Shahr-E-Rey, Tehran (2004-2008)

This Development Plan was the second plan preparing by our firm, within a 10 year period. This time the Development Plan was preparing at the same time with the Development Plans for other regions of Tehran, and coordination with the new Master Plan of Tehran which was under preparation at the same time. The population on 2004 was around 335,000 and plan was providing to inhabit 480,000 population for 2026, within an area of 3400 Hectars. The region is known as Shahr-E-Rey (City of Ray), pertaining the Pre-Eslamic Origins, famous for being one of the Iranian’s Capital during the 11 th. Cent. (AD.) and to be known as one of the most important Iranian’s Religious Center.
