Zakaria II -Mashad urban design project ( 2005 )

A large vacant area of 500h. , on the southern border of the city of mashad, was the chosen site for a new residential development for medium and high income class. The estimated population for this are is 60.000, and the residential appartment buildings are medium to highrise ( from 5 to 18 floors ). This area provide a high range of urban facilities, recreation areas, open spaces and a large park. As well as hotels and motels, a city scale museum , and large scale commercial office spaces in highrise buildings of 22nd floor. A large urban center provides a wide variety of urban scale facilities , such as cultural center, cinemas, sport services, shopping malls, and office spaces.
