Establishment of basis for rehabilitation and improvement of streets elevations in Tehran
The city of Tehran with 7.5 million population and 750 esq. Was founded as the Iranian capital 200 years ago. The city has combined many different urban patterns, including traditional to very gridiron lot-divisions, and large apartment complexes, in its expansion. Consequently there is a variety of streets elevations, from very unique one - story traditional and 2-4 stories premodern, to very disharmonic modern, international and post-modern styles. The project aims to establish basis for rehabilitation and improvement of existing and directing the future streets-elevations through a comprehensive study of the city and its urban patterns as well as streets elevations.
