Medical center Mashhad (2006-2007)

A medical complex of 30,000 sq.M. In the central part of the city, right across the oldest and largest hospital of mashad was the subject of a contract with the city of mashad . The complex includes 3 levels of stores for all medical equipments & products, as well as 8 floors for clinics and medical, diagnostic / therapy centers. The design concept was to provide a solid mass for diagnostic and in - patient intervention centers, in contrast to the transparent volume of the clinics. A void in between these two sections is providing the natural light into the heart of the building, and organizing all the vertical and horizontal circulations. These two parts are located on top of the stores . A food court in between of these parts of the building distinguishes the upper floors from the stores levels.
