The site is located in lot of 3300 sq.M., in a nice neighborhood with many other
embassies.
The concept of design is to incorporate the iranian traditional meaning of architecture with the climatic features and technological standards of south africa, in pretoria. The building is a massive administrative block surrunding a transparent identical structure & volume of a green inner courtyard, in witich all the public spaces are located as well. The consular office with more public characteristics is defining an entry to the main courtyard of the embassy, and the administrative block is definign the other side of the main courtyard. The total area of the building is around 2500 sq.M. |
